Experience:

• At least 3 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments, Textile, Supply Chain, Science Laboratory

• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Chemical Technical/Engineering
• Diploma in Textile Engineering

Technical Skills:

Proficient in textile testing methods, equipment, and industry standards (e.g, ISO, ASTM).

Experience with laboratory information management systems (LIMS) is a plus.

• Proficient in data analysis with extensive of using Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Have proactiveness and positive Attitude, ability to act with integrity. 

• Good knowledge of sustainable textile materials will be a plus.

• Customer focus with good oral and written communication to drive results

• Capable of handling multiple tasks/projects simultaneously

• Experience of working with laboratory information management system (LIMS) Industry standards (ISO,ASTM) is preferable .

• Strong communication skills & willingness to listen with an open mind will be key to succeed in this role.

We are looking for a detail-oriented Textile Lab Technician who want to be part of the revolution in creating sustainable and traceable supply chains in the fashion and textile industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting tests on textile materials, analyzing results, and ensuring quality standards are met.

Key Responsibilities: 

Quality Control:

• Implement and maintain rigorous testing protocols to ensure all textiles meet industry standards and client specifications.

• Perform tests on fabrics and textiles.

• Record and analyze test data.

• Ensure products meet quality and safety standards.

• Maintain and calibrate lab equipment

Research & Development:

• Drive innovation by leading R&D projects aimed at developing new materials and improving existing products.

Compliance:

• Ensure all laboratory practices comply with industry regulations and safety standards.

Reporting:

• Generate detailed reports on test results, research findings, and process improvements for Material specialist.

Training & Development:

• Mentor and train laboratory staff, promoting continuous professional development and staying updated with the latest industry advancements.

Oversee the daily operations of the textile laboratory, managing a day today operation of Bestseller specific lab and ensuring a productive and collaborative working environment.
