Experience

• 5-10 years of practical experience in handling VAT operations, Mushak registers, and monthly return submissions, Various audits.

Other Requirements

• Excellent writing and speaking skills in English and Bangla is a pre-requisite.
• Advance efficiency on MS Word, Excel & Power point.

We need VAT MANAGER instead of VAT Officer: A VAT Manager is responsible for managing a company’s VAT compliance, reporting, and tax-related operations. Typical responsibilities include:

• Ensuring accurate calculation and payment of VAT.
• Preparing and submitting VAT returns within statutory deadlines.
• Maintaining VAT records, invoices, purchase and sales registers, and supporting documents.
• Monitoring VAT on purchases, sales, imports, exports, and services.
• Ensuring compliance with applicable VAT laws and regulations.
• Handling VAT audits, inspections, assessments, and correspondence with the tax/VAT authority.
• Reviewing VAT-related contracts, invoices, and transactions to identify risks or errors.
• Advising management and other departments on VAT implications of business transactions.
• Coordinating with accounts, commercial, procurement, sales, and finance teams regarding VAT matters.
• Monitoring VAT receivables/payables, adjustments, refunds, and deductions.
• Keeping the company updated on changes in VAT rules and implementing necessary changes.
• Maintaining proper documentation to support VAT claims and minimize penalties or disputes.
• Assisting with internal controls and improving VAT processes and reporting.
• Interact with the National Board of Revenue (NBR), VAT divisions offices and Circle
