Experience:
Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in HRM, Management, Business Administration or a related field.
Preferred Qualification & Experience
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in a knit composite/export-oriented garment factory.
Practical knowledge of Bangladesh Labour Law, Labour Rules, HR compliance and factory administration.
Experience in handling buyer/social compliance audits will be an advantage.
Good communication, leadership, problem-solving and team-management skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and HR/Payroll software.
We are looking for a dynamic, experienced, and responsible HR & Admin Manager to oversee the overall Human Resources and Administration functions of our export-oriented knit composite garment factory.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day HR and Administration activities of the factory and ensure smooth office operations.
Maintain employee records, personal files, attendance, leave, joining, transfer, promotion, resignation and separation documentation.
Manage recruitment and selection, including manpower requisition, job posting, CV screening, interviews, selection and onboarding.
Prepare and maintain appointment letters, confirmation letters, warning letters, show-cause notices and other HR documents.
Monitor employee attendance, overtime, leave and absenteeism and coordinate with Payroll/Accounts for accurate salary processing.
Ensure compliance with Bangladesh Labour Law, Labour Rules, company policies and applicable statutory requirements.
Handle employee grievances, disciplinary matters, workplace conflicts and maintain proper disciplinary records.
Coordinate employee welfare activities, including medical support, canteen, transport, accommodation and other welfare facilities where applicable.
Maintain proper records of manpower, turnover, absenteeism, overtime and other HR-related reports and submit regular reports to management.
Conduct employee orientation and coordinate training and development programs based on organizational requirements.
Ensure proper implementation of company rules, HR policies, code of conduct and workplace procedures.
Coordinate with relevant departments regarding fire safety, worker safety, security, welfare and compliance requirements.
Prepare HR-related documents and information required for customer, social compliance, buyer, government and third-party audits.
Maintain and update statutory and regulatory documents, licences, registers and records related to HR and Administration.
Supervise security, housekeeping, transport, office maintenance and other general administrative services.
Manage office/factory facilities, utilities, stationery, furniture, equipment and other administrative requirements.
Coordinate with government offices, labour authorities, local administration and other external stakeholders when required.
Assist management in developing and implementing HR policies, SOPs and employee engagement initiatives.
Monitor workplace discipline, punctuality, professional conduct and compliance with company rules.
Prepare monthly HR & Admin reports, manpower statements, attendance summaries and management information reports.
Support internal and external audits and ensure timely corrective actions against audit findings.
Perform any other HR & Admin duties assigned by the management.
