The industry is fully export oriented and known for its various units, Spinning, Yarn Dying, Weaving & Fabric Dyeing and Finishing, more than 5,000 employees. Spinning unit consists of reputed brands of machineries like Reiter, Zinser, Schlaforst-Autocone, Autocore, Uster-Lab. Now, we are seeking a dynamic & energetic person to join us as “Assistant Manager, R&D (Woven Fabrics)”. The candidate has to perform following responsibilities:
•Receive, review, and analyze Sample Production Orders (SPO) and Bulk Production Orders (BPO) to ensure accuracy and completeness.
•Prepare and generate Sample and Bulk technical data sheet in both manual and SAP based on approved specifications, buyer requirements, and production parameters.
•Analyze fabric construction, weave design, CAD, technical data, test reports, and repeat-order references to determine suitable production parameters.
•Develop and update CAD, weave designs, and dobby programs using Textronic Design Dobby Software to support sample development, fabric engineering, and bulk production requirements.
•Determine reed count, reed space, loom type, weave structure, process loss allowance, and other weaving parameters.
•Verify buyer requirements against technical feasibility and fabric specifications; coordinate with Marketing and other concerned departments regarding any required modifications.
•Ensure proper selection and availability of yarns, initiate yarn indents, and coordinate yarn doubling requirements when necessary.
•Maintain effective coordination with Marketing, Planning, Sample, Handloom, Production, and other relevant departments to ensure timely order execution.
•Prepare, verify, and distribute technical documents, pattern papers, and production-related instructions to concerned departments.
•Update Work-in-Progress (WIP) status and monitor development and production progress.
•Maintain accurate records and documentation of approved samples, CADs, test reports, technical sheets and related production documents.
•Analyze previous production data and technical records to support repeat orders and continuous process improvement.
•Ensure compliance with company quality standards, customer requirements, and departmental procedures.
•Support new product development, fabric engineering, and process optimization initiatives.
• Evaluate new raw materials, yarns, coatings and different chemical finished and its effect fabric construction.
• Ensure that R&D outputs meet applicable regulatory, safety and environment standards (e.g, EN, ISO, ASTM).
• Well know about pre-treatment, CPB Dyeing, Thermosol Dyeing, Jiggar Process, Jigger Process Printing and Stike Off also.
