• Age 38 to 45 years

Experience in garments production planning, preferably in denim. With at least 3–5 years in a managerial role within a dedicated denim manufacturing facility.

Strong knowledge of denim garment production processes, including cutting, sewing, washing, finishing, and packing.

Good understanding of production capacity, SMV, efficiency, line balancing, WIP, and lead time.

Strong Excel and ERP/MRP skills.

Excellent communication, analytical, problem-solving, and team-management abilities.

Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple urgent orders.

Job Purpose

Oversee end-to-end production planning and capacity management for denim / non Denim manufacturing. Align merchandising orders with washing, sewing, and finishing schedules to maximize line efficiency and ensure on-time delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Develop daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on order requirements and shipment dates.

Prepare capacity plans for cutting, sewing, washing, finishing, and packing.

Analyze order details, SMV, line capacity, manpower, machine availability, and production efficiency.

Allocate orders to appropriate production lines according to product complexity and capacity.

Monitor production progress against the plan and take corrective action for delays.

Coordinate closely with Merchandising, Production, IE, Cutting, Washing, Finishing, Quality, and Commercial departments.

Ensure raw materials, trims, fabrics, accessories, and wash requirements are available according to the production schedule.

Follow up on WIP, line loading, output, efficiency, bottlenecks, and shipment priorities.

Prepare daily/weekly planning reports and communicate production status to management.

Identify capacity gaps and recommend overtime, additional lines, subcontracting, or other solutions when required.

Manage critical orders and implement recovery plans to meet shipment deadlines.

Maintain accurate planning data in ERP/MRP systems and Excel.

Monitor production lead time and continuously improve planning accuracy.

Conduct capacity and feasibility analysis for new orders before production commitment.

Ensure effective utilization of factory resources and minimize idle time and production loss.
