Responsibilities & Context:
Alam Garments is looking for a dynamic and experienced Production Manager to oversee garment production operations, ensure timely delivery, maintain quality standards, and drive operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and monitor daily production activities.
- Ensure production targets are achieved within the approved timeline.
- Coordinate with Merchandising, Planning, Quality, Maintenance, and HR teams.
- Optimize manpower, machine utilization, and production efficiency.
- Monitor production quality and minimize defects, wastage, and rework.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and buyer requirements.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports.
- Lead, coach, and develop production supervisors and line teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Textile Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Apparel Manufacturing, or a related discipline.
- at least 5 years of experience in garment manufacturing, including 3 years in a managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of production planning, line balancing, sewing operations, industrial engineering, and quality management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
