Responsibilities & Context:
Job Overview:
Alam Garments is seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Quality Control Manager to oversee and ensure product quality across all stages of garment production. This is a factory-based role requiring strong hands-on involvement in production lines, compliance, and team management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality control systems and procedures in the factory
- Monitor all stages of production (cutting, sewing, finishing, packing) to ensure compliance with buyer requirements
- Lead and supervise QC team, line inspectors, and quality auditors
- Conduct inline, midline, and final inspections to ensure product quality standards
- Identify quality issues, analyze root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
- Ensure compliance with buyer standards, AQL requirements, and international quality benchmarks
- Coordinate with production, merchandising, and compliance teams for quality improvement
- Prepare and maintain quality reports, audit documents, and inspection records
- Handle buyer visits, third-party inspections, and quality audits
- Train factory staff and operators on quality standards and improvement techniques
