Responsibilities & Context:
Job Context
A leading composite textile manufacturing company in Bangladesh is seeking an experienced and technically competent DGM – Knit Dyeing to lead its Knit Dyeing operation.
Responsibilities
Lead the complete Knit Dyeing operation and ensure production targets.
Ensure required quality, shade matching, colour fastness and timely delivery.
Monitor dyeing efficiency, reprocessing, wastage and production costs.
Ensure optimum utilization of dyes, chemicals, water, energy and machinery.
Coordinate with Knitting, Laboratory, Quality and Finishing.
Resolve technical dyeing issues and implement corrective actions.
Drive productivity, process improvement and cost reduction.
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and customer requirements.
Maintain strong communication and relationships with buyers/clients to fully understand and fulfill their quality, technical and delivery requirements.
Lead, develop and motivate the Knit Dyeing team.
Requirements
Bachelor degree in Textile Engineering, Textile Technology, Dyeing & Chemical Engineering or relevant discipline.
14+ years of relevant experience in Knit Dyeing.
Proven experience in managerial position in a large-scale textile mill.
Strong technical knowledge of knit dyeing, dyes & chemicals, laboratory, shade matching and finishing.
Strong capability in buyer communication, handling buyer requirements and maintaining professional relationships with buyers/ claints.
Experience with international buyers will be preferred.
