Sinobangla Industries Limited, a 100% export oriented China-Bangladesh joint venture Company, engaged in production of WPP & FIBC bag, is looking for suitable candidate to fill up the following vacancy in the factory:
Job Location Baluakandi, Gazaria, Munshiganj, Bangladesh.
Responsible for ensuring the robustness and technical performance of FIBC finished Bags before placed in production, quality & technical know-how are essential. The job holder will be required to lead and/or contribute to the development of a multi-part Bags production capability, helping to enhance the technical skills set & operational excellence within the team, as well as improve the way of working with other functions, and the efficiency and effectiveness of the team.
Job Responsibilities;
Managing production activities of FIBC Sewing, Baling, Cutting, and Printing sections by leading and motivating section employees in all areas, including safety, efficiency, wastage management, quality, and continuous improvement.
Work with HODs of Processing, Sewing & Cutting, baling supervisors, maintenance technicians, and the central planner to make sure finished bags are delivered to baling sections as per the required lead-time according to the given delivery date.
Monitor Hourly production, leave & absenteeism records of employees, evaluate team members' performance, counsel, and adjust training where needed to attract, retain, and develop high-potential talent.
Needs to accelerate changeover along with the Mechanic, supervisors, and shift in charge, and calculate SMV of the complete product by time study to get maximum output by reducing the bottleneck.
Will participate in early production meeting as well as ensure that no assumptions are made on the containers file, and he has full clarity on that.
Ensure quality systems and procedures are followed to achieve required quality standards; analyze root causes and take required corrective measures for improving RFT.
Accountable for the productivity requires contacting appropriate resources for issue resolution, providing alternative duties in the event of breakdown or material shortage.
Applying & teaching a lean approach to solving production-related issues to the shift in charge, supervisors & operators.
Driving savings projects by implementing operational excellence initiatives & Industrial Engineering concepts.
Coordinate with store, confections, other sections, internal processing, and central planning departments to ensure uninterrupted supply of raw material for continuous production
Drive Multi skilling project to improve skill levels of the operators and staff within the department and across other departments.
Drive TPM & PDCA culture in the department and work with the maintenance department to ensure machines are up to standard for continuous production.
Ensure all health and safety requirements are followed within the department and provide required awareness to the department members.
Ensure proper housekeeping, proper storage of the material on the floor, and discipline within the department.
Vast knowledge required in the food-grade FIBC bag manufacturing industry
