  • Must be expert in Lectra (Modaris) Software

  • Up-to-date knowledge and skills in garment manufacturing and Fitting

  • In-depth knowledge of denim products

  • Maintaining the mentality of following all the rules and regulations of the office.

  • Well-knowledge of pattern-making both manually and directly through the computer.

  • Must have better knowledge of Computers (such as MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint, Photo Editor Studio) Mail Communication, and internet browsing.

  • Must be an expert in Denim Tops & bottoms (Pant, Shirt, jacket, Shacket, overall & blazer).

  • Good communication skill both in English and Bangla (Reading, writing and speaking).



Responsibilities & Context:

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and create accurate patterns for all denim styles based on design specifications, tech packs, and samples.

  • Ensure garment fit and shape are consistent with design intent and buyer requirements.

  • Collaborate closely with Design, Merchandising, and Production teams to ensure patterns meet style, cost, and production feasibility.

  • Conduct pattern grading for different sizes according to the size chart and garment specifications.

  • Produce marker layouts and provide guidance for efficient fabric utilization and minimal wastage.

  • Support sample making and prototyping to finalize first samples for buyer approval.

  • Provide technical guidance to cutting and sewing teams regarding pattern specifications and modifications.

  • Conduct fit sessions with the QA and Design teams and make adjustments to patterns as required.

  • Maintain a pattern library and related documentation for all styles and revisions.

  • . Ensure adherence to garment specifications, tolerances, and quality standards.

  • Train and guide junior pattern makers and assistants to ensure skill development and efficiency.

  • - Support production troubleshooting by providing solutions for fit or construction issues.

  • - Keep updated with latest pattern-making techniques, software (like Gerber, Lectra, Optitex), and denim garment trends.

  • Ensure all patterns comply with buyer specifications and internal standard operating procedures (SOPs).

  • Perform any additional responsibilities assigned by the Head of Production or section head.
