Responsibilities & Context:
• Lead and supervise daily sewing production operations to achieve planned production targets.
• Ensure achievement of production quantity, efficiency, productivity, and quality KPIs.
• Monitor line performance and take corrective actions to improve output and efficiency.
• Coordinate with Industrial Engineering (IE) team to ensure effective line balancing and manpower optimization.
• Monitor production bottlenecks and implement corrective measures to minimize downtime.
• Ensure compliance with approved operation bulletin, production methods, and SOPs.
• Coordinate with Planning department to ensure execution according to production plans.
• Monitor hourly production reports and analyze variances against targets.
• Ensure effective utilization of manpower, machinery, and production resources.
• Coordinate with Maintenance department to ensure machine availability and quick troubleshooting.
• Work closely with Quality teams to reduce defects, DHU, alterations, and rework.
• Monitor absenteeism, labor productivity, and workforce discipline within production lines.
• Ensure proper implementation of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for production losses and quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure on-time completion of sewing production for subsequent processes.
• Ensure fast act react approach to resolve production, quality, manpower, and delivery-related challenges.
