Strong knowledge of woven fabrics (denim, twill, poplin, oxford, canvas) and knit fabrics (single jersey, rib, interlock).
Understanding of washing processes (enzyme, stone, PP spray) and print or wash effects on knits.
Knowledge of garment construction (jeans, shirts, trousers), as well as shrinkage, spirality control, and GSM variation.
Familiarity with measurement tolerance, workmanship standards, and kids safety (if applicable).
Join Svantex Asia Ltd. as a Buying QA (Knit & Woven)! We`re looking for a highly motivated and experienced Buying QA to join our team in Dhaka to manage both woven and knit product lines. If you have a strong technical background and a passion for garment production, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
Reviewing and approving PP samples, size sets, fit samples, construction details, and fabric quality.
Ensuring garments meet buyer tech packs and specifications, while monitoring knit fabric behavior like stretch and recovery.
Reviewing fabric inspection reports and monitoring shrinkage, shade variation, and color fastness.
Following up on the full production process, including weaving, knitting, dyeing, cutting, sewing, and finishing.
Planning and monitoring inline inspection, DPI, and FRI according to AQL standards.
Identifying risks such as shade mismatch or poor workmanship, raising non-conformities, and ensuring a Corrective Action Plan (CAPA) from factories.
Monitoring production against shipment schedules to ensure packing list readiness and on-time FRI.
Coordinating with factory QA/QC, merchandising, and planning teams.
Preparing and reviewing inspection reports, and updating the ERP system and Google trackers.
Evaluating factory performance and ensuring adherence to buyer quality and compliance standards.
