Responsibilities & Context:
Manage technical development of Outerwear & Jacket products from proto/sample stage to bulk production.
Review tech packs, specifications, measurement charts, BOM, patterns, construction, and workmanship requirements.
Handle fitting, sample development, and approval including Proto, Fit, SMS, PP, and Size Set samples.
Identify and resolve technical issues related to fit, construction, fabrics, trims, waterproofing, seam sealing, and functionality.
Prepare technical workbooks, MPDs, measurement charts, and other technical documents.
Coordinate with Pattern, Merchandising, Production, Quality, and Factory Technical teams to ensure approved requirements are properly implemented.
Strong practical knowledge of woven fabrics, fabric composition, yarn count, garment construction, washing, denim, chinos, jackets, and other product categories.
Provide technical solutions to improve quality, fit, performance, manufacturability, and cost efficiency.
Guide and support technical team members and ensure timely product development.
