Responsibilities & Context:
Supervise and manage day-to-day cutting department operations.
Ensure cutting production is completed according to the production plan and delivery schedule.
Monitor fabric spreading, cutting, numbering, bundling, and panel quality.
Ensure accurate cutting according to approved patterns, markers, sizes, and quantities.
Control fabric consumption and minimize fabric wastage.
Coordinate with Planning, CAD/Marker, Production, Quality, and Store departments.
Manage manpower and allocate workers according to production requirements.
Monitor cutting quality and take corrective action when problems occur.
Ensure proper shade, size, lot, and bundle identification to avoid production mistakes.
