Job Context
We are a leading, state-of-the-art export-oriented manufacturing/garments industry located in the industrial hub of Dhaka. We are currently seeking a dynamic, result-driven, and highly experienced professional to lead our production operations as General Manager (Production).
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership: Oversee overall plant production operations to ensure targets are met efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of product quality.
Strategic Planning: Develop and implement production strategies, annual budgets, and resource allocation plans to maximize productivity and minimize operational costs.
Process Optimization: Implement Lean manufacturing, 5S, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies to reduce waste and optimize workflow.
Quality & Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to compliance standards, safety regulations (OSHA/local labor laws), and buyer quality specifications.
Team Management: Lead, mentor, and evaluate production managers, floor supervisors, and technical teams to foster a high-performance culture.
Supply Chain & Maintenance: Coordinate closely with merchandising, planning, and maintenance departments to ensure smooth material flow and minimal machine downtime.
Reporting: Prepare and present comprehensive daily, weekly, and monthly production reports to the Top Management.
