Requirements & Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Design / Fine Arts / Textile Engineering (or equivalent certification from a reputed institution).
Experience: 4 to 7 years of hands-on experience in fashion design within a reputed RMG buying house, exporter, or established fashion brand.

Software Proficiency: Expert command over Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and CAD tools.Skills: Strong understanding of fabric construction, garment manufacturing processes, pattern making, and grading.Attributes:

Excellent aesthetic sense, strong communication skills, ability to work under tight deadlines, and a proactive problem-solving mindset.

Key Responsibilities

• Trend Forecasting & Research: Analyze global fashion trends, consumer preferences, and market demand to conceptualize innovative design lines.

• Collection Development: Create original design sketches, mood boards, tech packs, and color palettes for upcoming apparel collections.

• Fabric & Trim Sourcing: Collaborate closely with the merchandising and sourcing teams to select suitable fabrics, accessories, and trims that align with design aesthetics and cost budgets.

• Prototyping & Sampling: Oversee the sample-making process from scratch, conduct fit sessions, and make necessary adjustments to ensure the final product matches the design vision.

• Team Leadership: Guide and mentor assistant designers and pattern makers to foster a creative and high-performing workspace.

• Production Coordination: Work hand-in-hand with the production and quality control teams to ensure seamless execution from concept to final bulk production.
