Job Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control washing processes (enzyme wash, stone wash, acid wash, bleach wash, soft wash, etc.)

• Ensure correct chemical dosage, water temperature, pH level, and process time

• Verify shade, hand feel, appearance, and washing effect as per approved standards

• Conduct in-line and final inspections of washed garments

• Perform tests for: Shade variation, Color fastness (wash, rubbing, light), Shrinkage & dimensional stability.

• Identify defects such as back staining, patchiness, uneven fading, streak marks, or fabric damage

• Maintain quality records, test reports, and inspection logs

• Prepare daily quality reports and corrective action reports

• Ensure compliance with ISO, GOTS, OEKO-TEX, ZDHC, and buyer requirements

• Support buyer audits and inspections

• Communicate with merchandising, production, and lab teams regarding quality issues

• Ensure factory follows approved wash standards and SOPs

• Analyze root causes of defects and implement corrective/preventive actions

• Assist in process improvement to reduce rework and rejection

• Monitor chemical handling and ensure safety procedures are followed

• Perform other tasks as assigned by the management.
