• 5 -10 years of experience in Woven / Knit garments merchandising.

• At least 5 years of practical experience in Woven based factory.

• Skills Required: Buying House, Garments, Marketing, Sourcing.

• Must have in depth Knowledge about Buyer Sourcing, Marketing.

• Must have in depth knowledge in yarn quality, yarn price, knitting, dyeing, finishing and total fabrication cost.

• Understand woven garments production lead time from yarn making to garment packing.

• Must have knowledge in logistic & commercial team and processes.

• Should be able to work under extensive pressure & solve problem creatively.

• Should be fluent in English correspondences both in written & oral forms and well conversant with computer applications.

Job Context

We are looking for an experienced person to lead a team of Merchandisers.

Job Responsibilities

• Ensure sourcing of Buyer, Overseeing the planning and implementation of Merchandising strategies.

• Manage efficient sourcing of fabrics & accessories and consumption.

• Forecasting, price setting, and negotiating quantities with buyers and suppliers.

• Negotiate with suppliers about price and other issues.

• Ensure necessary fabrics, accessories, and materials for production as per requirement.

• Identifying trends and monitoring supply and demand.

• Must be able to do costing of all kinds of woven & Knit garments.

• Able to do consumption & costing independently & on the spot.

• Follow up total order from development to shipment.

• Negotiate with buyers, participate in bidding process and obtain order confirmation in terms of price, costing, quality and lead-time.
