Additional Requirements:

  • Experience: 5–6 years of experience in Payroll, preferably in Factory Payroll operations.

  • Industry Experience: Experience in Manufacturing based organization - FMCG/RMG/Food,Beverage/Rubber Industry).

  • Technical Skills: Must have strong knowledge in MS Excel.

  • Legal Knowledge: Strong understanding of Bangladesh Labour Law 2006 (including amendments 2013 & 2018) and tax regulations



Responsibilities & Context:

Payroll Processing:

  • Manage complete monthly payroll processing within strict deadlines

  • Verify attendance, leave, shift, and timesheet data before payroll finalization

  • Calculate overtime (OT) and ensure proper approval for unauthorized OT

  • Maintain and update HRIS/ERP master database with accuracy

  • Process final settlements, bonuses, reimbursements, and allowances

Salary Disbursement Process:

  • Prepare salary bank transfer sheets and coordinate with Finance/Accounts

  • Ensure accurate monthly payroll provisions for finance reporting

  • Assist employees (including expatriates) with banking-related requirements

Statutory Compliance & Taxation:

  • Ensure compliance with Bangladesh Labour Law and company wage policies

  • Calculate and deduct income tax (TDS) from employee salaries

  • Prepare and submit monthly treasury challans and quarterly/annual TDS returns

Expatriate Management:

  • Manage expatriate payroll, tax documentation, and work permit-related processes

  • Coordinate salary remittance and bank account closure after permit cancellation

Reporting & Analytics:

  • Prepare monthly payroll reports (department-wise cost, headcount, OT analysis)

  • Develop and present payroll dashboards for management review
