Hands-on experience with inventory and transport management .
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Sound knowledge of vehicle management, government documentation, and compliance.
Responsibilities & Context:
Distribution Operation:
Plan and arrange vehicles as per the route plan; ensure on-time dispatch and delivery of goods from the factory to designated points.
Monitor day-to-day distribution activities, including vehicle loading, route optimization, and tracking delivery timelines.
Maintain vehicle movement logs, trip records, and real-time tracking via GPS/Vehicle Tracking System (VTS).
Handle finished goods dispatch based on FIFO principles and ensure timely product delivery to sales points and distributors.
Receive and inspect materials/goods based on Challan, Purchase Order, and Work Orders.
Ensure proper storage, traceability, and identification of goods maintaining storage best practices.
Prepare and update stock/inventory reports on daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly bases.
Monitor physical inventory with scheduled audits and ensure accuracy between system and physical stock.
Maintain cleanliness, safety, and security of the warehouse premises and enforce compliance policies.
