Additional Requirements:
  • Age 25 to 45 years
  • Minimum 8–12 years’ experience in HR, Admin & Compliance, preferably in the Paper / Manufacturing / Industrial sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of Bangladesh Labour Law 2006 (amended 2013, 2018), Factories Act, and related compliance regulations.
  • Strong expertise in employee relations, disciplinary management, and conflict resolution.
  • Hands-on experience in compliance audit handling (buyer, government, and certification bodies).
  • Excellent communication and liaison skills with government offices, regulatory authorities, and external stakeholders.
  • Proven leadership ability in managing a large workforce (factory & projects).
  • Proficiency in MS Office, HRIS/ERP systems, and preparation of MIS, KPI, and compliance reports.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality with high levels of integrity and professionalism.
  • Age range: 35–45 years (flexible for highly experienced candidates).
  • Must be proactive, hardworking, and capable of working under pressure.
  • Night stay at factory is mandatory.
  • Field work and frequent project/site visits are required.


Responsibilities & Context:
  • Human Resources & Manpower

    • Supervise daily administrative activities of the factory.

    • Assess manpower requirements, recruitment, and proper placement.

    • Implement and monitor training & development programs for staff and workers.

    • Ensure proper attendance, payroll management, and leave administration.

  • Administration & Operations

    • Liaison among corporate and project offices for smooth communication.

    • Frequent visits to project/factory sites to monitor activities and ensure compliance.

    • Ensure neatness, cleanliness, and maintenance of factory premises.

    • Timely arrangement of all kinds of logistical support for production & operations.

    • Oversee utility management (electricity, water, gas) and ensure uninterrupted supply.

    • Ensure proper transport management, guest house/hotel booking and employee welfare facilities.

  • Compliance & Legal

    • Ensure compliance with Bangladesh Labour Law 2006 (amended 2013) & related rules.

    • Maintain liaison with Govt. offices, local administration, BEPZA, DOE, Fire Service, Factory Inspector, and Labour Office.

    • Conduct internal audits and compliance inspections (health, safety, security, environment).

    • Prepare necessary reports & documentation for compliance audits (buyer / govt. / certification bodies).

    • Ensure all employee files, contracts, disciplinary actions and grievance handling follow legal standards.

  • Employee Relations & Communication

    • Maintain effective communication between management and workers’ representatives.

    • Handle disciplinary issues, conflict resolution, and grievance management.

    • Organize welfare activities, health & safety training, and awareness programs.

    • Monitor and control absenteeism, turnover, and labor unrest prevention.

  • Safety, Security & Crisis Management

    • Oversee overall safety & security arrangements of the factory & projects.

    • Ensure fire safety, emergency evacuation plan and compliance with EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) standards.

    • Supervise security personnel and ensure protection of company assets.

    • Ensure medical support and first-aid facilities at factory level.

  • Coordination & Reporting

    • Conduct sales-related administrative campaigns and support marketing/finance/legal teams.

    • Ensure monthly business target/KPI achievement with cross-functional departments.

    • Submit periodic MIS, HR and compliance reports to higher management.

    • Assist in long-term planning, budgeting and cost control measures.

  • Other Requirements

    • Flexibility to work on weekends and holidays as needed.

    • Strong leadership ability with team-building skills.

    • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
