  • 10–15 years of experience in supply chain management in manufacturing, construction or similar industrial sector.

  • Minimum 5–7 years in a senior managerial position.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.

  • Excellent negotiation and analytical skills.

  • Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office.

  • Sound knowledge of local and international sourcing.

  • Strong communication and coordination ability.

  • Strategic planning and problem-solving capability.



Responsibilities & Context:
  1. Develop and implement strategic supply chain plans aligned with production targets and business objectives.

  2. Oversee procurement of raw materials e.g., packaging materials, spare parts and consumables.

  3. Plan and execute procurement strategy for construction materials.

  4. Manage vendor selection, contract negotiation, and supplier performance evaluation.

  5. Ensure timely sourcing from local and international suppliers while maintaining quality standards.

  6. Monitor inventory levels to prevent stock-outs and excess stock, ensuring optimum working capital utilization.

  7. Lead logistics and transportation planning for inbound and outbound materials.

  8. Negotiate pricing, contracts, and service terms with suppliers and logistics providers.

  9. Ensure compliance with import/export regulations, customs documentation, and statutory requirements.

  10. Implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality.

  11. Coordinate with Engineering, Project Management, and Finance departments.

  12. Implement ERP-based supply chain systems and reporting tools.

  13. Develop vendor evaluation systems and conduct periodic supplier performance reviews.

  14. Monitor supply chain KPIs including cost reduction, lead time, service level, and inventory turnover.

  15. Identify risks in the supply chain and develop mitigation strategies.
