Parts Generation Limited is one of Bangladesh's fastest-growing automotive parts and car care e-commerce companies. We are looking for a proactive and energetic Executive, Procurement (Field) to support our procurement operations by sourcing genuine automotive parts, building supplier relationships, negotiating competitive prices, and ensuring timely product availability.
The ideal candidate should be willing to travel within Dhaka, communicate effectively with vendors, and work closely with the warehouse, inventory, and operations teams to maintain efficient procurement activities.
Source genuine automotive spare parts, lubricants, batteries, tyres, and car care products from local suppliers.
Visit suppliers, distributors, and automotive markets to identify new sourcing opportunities.
Request quotations (RFQ), compare prices, and prepare supplier comparison reports.
Negotiate pricing, discounts, payment terms, and delivery schedules with vendors.
Prepare Purchase Requisitions (PR) and Purchase Orders (PO).
Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products.
Verify product quality, authenticity, and specifications before procurement.
Coordinate with Warehouse, Inventory, Sales, and Customer Support teams regarding procurement requirements.
Monitor inventory levels and assist in stock replenishment planning.
Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers while developing new vendor partnerships.
Conduct regular market research to identify new products, pricing trends, and alternative suppliers.
Maintain procurement records, supplier databases, quotations, invoices, and related documentation.
Assist in supplier performance evaluation and vendor management.
Coordinate with the Finance Department regarding supplier invoices and payment follow-ups.
Support import procurement documentation whenever required.
Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly procurement reports.
Resolve supplier-related issues efficiently while maintaining professional relationships.
Perform any other procurement-related tasks assigned by Management.
