Job Context
Helium is a growing restaurant chain operating multiple Restaurant Outlets, Sub-Stores, a Central Warehouse, and a Central Kitchen. We are looking for honest, responsible, and detail-oriented Storekeepers to manage inventory receiving, storage, issuing, documentation, and stock control at our Central Warehouse and Sub-Stores.
Key Responsibilities
Receive food ingredients, packaging materials, beverages, cleaning supplies, equipment, and other store items against approved documents.
Verify received quantities, product quality, batch numbers, manufacturing dates, expiry dates, and delivery documents.
Prepare and maintain Goods Received Notes (GRNs), stock-receiving records, issue records, transfer documents, and other store-related documents.
Store items according to product categories, storage requirements, and approved location codes.
Follow FIFO and FEFO methods while storing and issuing inventory.
Issue materials only against approved requisitions or transfer documents.
Maintain accurate bin cards, stock registers, system records, and daily inventory movement records.
Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile physical stock with book or system balances.
Immediately report stock shortages, excess stock, damaged items, near-expiry items, expired products, and stock discrepancies immediately.
Maintain appropriate temperature, cleanliness, hygiene, pest-control, and food-safety standards inside the store.
Ensure proper segregation of dry, chilled, frozen, chemical, damaged, and returnable items.
Support the 10-day replenishment and distribution cycle from the Central Warehouse to the Sub-Stores.
Coordinate with Supply Chain Management, Central Kitchen, Outlet Operations, Accounts, and Internal Audit.
Maintain proper records of transfers among the Central Kitchen, Central Warehouse, Sub-Stores, and Restaurant Outlets.
Assist with stock audits and provide all required records and explanations.
Ensure store security, restricted access, proper key control, and the safe handling of company assets.
Perform any other store or inventory-related duties assigned by management.
The final salary will be determined based on experience, capability, and posting location.
