Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management
MBA or professional certification in Supply Chain Management will be an added advantage
The age limit may be relaxed for candidates with strong and relevant experience.
Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in supply chain, procurement, inventory, warehouse, or distribution operations
Experience in a restaurant chain, food business, FMCG, retail, Central Kitchen, or distribution company will be preferred
Experience in team supervision will be an advantage
Strong knowledge of procurement, inventory control, warehousing, and distribution
Practical knowledge of FIFO, FEFO, stock reconciliation, inventory ageing, and expiry control
Good supplier negotiation and vendor-management skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Experience with ERP or inventory management software
Strong reporting, accountability, and attention to detail
Good communication and cross-functional coordination skills
Willingness to travel regularly to Restaurant Outlets and Sub-Stores
Job Context
Helium is a growing restaurant chain operating three Restaurant Outlets and three nearby Sub-Stores in divisional cities, along with a Central Warehouse and a Central Kitchen in Dhaka.
We are looking for an analytical, responsible, and result-oriented Assistant Manager ─ Supply Chain Management to manage procurement, inventory, warehousing, replenishment, supplier performance, Central Kitchen coordination, logistics, cost control, and supply chain reporting.

Key Responsibilities
Plan demand, procurement, and the replenishment cycle for all Restaurant Outlets and Sub-Stores.
Ensure the timely availability of raw materials, semi-finished goods, packaging materials, beverages, and other operational supplies.
Monitor purchase requisitions, purchase orders, supplier deliveries, lead times, and pending purchases.
Evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, delivery performance, service, and performance.
Negotiate purchase prices and analyze purchase price variances.
Control emergency and local purchases and reduce unnecessary local sourcing.
Monitor Central Warehouse and Sub-Store inventories, stock cover, stock-outs, excess stock, and inventory discrepancies.
Ensure accurate stock transfers and reconciliation among the Central Kitchen, Central Warehouse, Sub-Stores, and Restaurant Outlets.
Coordinate Central Kitchen production requirements, yield, material usage, wastage, and semi-finished goods transfers.
Monitor slow-moving, near-expiry, expired, damaged, and wasted inventory.
Ensure compliance with FIFO, FEFO, storage, temperature-control, hygiene, and food-safety requirements.
Plan dispatches and monitor delivery accuracy, delays, shortages, transit damage, and logistics costs.
Ensure proper documentation of requisitions, quotations, purchase orders, challans, GRNs, stock transfers, and inventory records.
Coordinate with Operations, Accounts, HR & Admin, Central Kitchen, Outlet Management, and Internal Audit.
Prepare weekly and monthly supply chain reports, KPI dashboards, risk updates, and action plans.
Supervise and develop warehouse, store, and supply chain personnel.
The salary will be determined based on experience, capability, and overall suitability.
