Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
A degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, Restaurant Management, or a related field will be considered an advantage.
Educational requirements may be relaxed for candidates with extensive and relevant experience.
Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in restaurant, fast-food, café, hotel, or hospitality operations.
At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role within the restaurant or hospitality industry is required.
Experience in managing a high-volume restaurant outlet or working with a reputed restaurant chain will be considered an advantage.
Strong leadership, communication, team management, and problem-solving skills.
Sound knowledge of restaurant operations, customer service, food safety, hygiene, inventory management, and cost control.
Ability to manage service, kitchen, cashier, and other outlet support teams.
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel, email, POS systems, and restaurant management software.
Ability to analyze sales, stock, wastage, manpower, and operational reports.
Must be responsible, disciplined, customer-focused, and capable of working effectively under pressure.
Willingness to work on weekends, public holidays, and according to the restaurant’s operational schedule.
Must be willing to work in any divisional city in Bangladesh.
Job Context
Helium Bangladesh is looking for experienced, responsible, and result-oriented Restaurant Managers to oversee the overall operations and performance of its restaurant outlets in divisional cities across Bangladesh.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the overall daily operations of the assigned restaurant outlet.
Ensure excellent customer service, consistent food quality, cleanliness, hygiene, and operational discipline.
Lead, supervise, schedule, and evaluate outlet employees.
Prepare duty rosters and monitor employee attendance, grooming, discipline, productivity, and performance.
Ensure the achievement of sales targets and continuous improvement in customer satisfaction.
Handle customer complaints and resolve operational issues promptly and professionally.
Monitor daily sales, cash collections, discounts, refunds, void transactions, and closing reports.
Control food costs, labor costs, wastage, breakage, pilferage, and other operating expenses.
Ensure proper requisitioning, receiving, storage, stock control, and utilization of materials.
Conduct regular stock counts and investigate shortages, excessive usage, or unusual variances.
Ensure compliance with approved recipes, portion sizes, service standards, company policies, and SOPs.
Maintain food safety, personal hygiene, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
Train, guide, and motivate employees to improve productivity, service quality, and operational efficiency.
Coordinate with Head Office departments, including Operations, HR & Administration, Accounts & Finance, Supply Chain Management, Marketing, and IT.
Submit regular sales, stock, manpower, wastage, customer service, and operational reports.
Safeguard company assets and promptly report major incidents, irregularities, or operational risks to Management.
Perform any other duties assigned by Management.
