Responsibilities & Context:

A reputed Group of Companies engaged in the Garments Accessories manufacturing industry is looking for a competent, energetic, and experienced Senior Executive/Assistant Manager – Store to strengthen its Store Department. The incumbent will be responsible for managing all store operations, including raw materials, finished goods, spare parts, chemicals, packaging materials, and consumables. The candidate must have sound knowledge of inventory control, stock reconciliation, ERP systems, FIFO/FEFO practices, and documentation. The ideal candidate should be able to ensure accurate inventory records, minimize stock discrepancies, maintain proper storage conditions, and support uninterrupted production by ensuring timely material availability.

Job Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, and supervise all daily store operations efficiently.

• Ensure proper receiving, inspection, storage, and issuance of all materials according to company procedures.

• Maintain accurate stock records in the ERP system and ensure timely system updates.

• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the Procurement and Production departments to ensure uninterrupted material supply.

• Conduct daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly stock verification and reconciliation.

• Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.

• Maintain FIFO/FEFO practices to minimize material deterioration and wastage.

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory, stock movement, and consumption reports for management.

• Ensure proper documentation of Goods Receipt Notes (GRN), Material Requisition Notes (MRN), Delivery Challans, Gate Passes, and Stock Transfer documents.

• Maintain proper storage conditions and ensure effective identification and labeling of all materials.

• Coordinate with Production, Quality, Commercial, Accounts, and Audit teams regarding inventory-related activities.

• Support internal and external audits by providing accurate inventory records and required documents.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, 5S, safety regulations, and warehouse best practices.

• Supervise store personnel, assign daily work, and monitor their performance.

• Identify slow-moving, non-moving, damaged, and obsolete inventory and report to management with recommendations.

• Maintain proper housekeeping, cleanliness, and security of the warehouse and storage areas.

• Perform any additional responsibilities assigned by the management.
