Additional Requirements:
  • Age 28 to 40 years
  • Strong knowledge of agricultural raw-material handling, warehouse operations, inventory control, transportation, and export logistics.

  • Practical experience in managing prepared cans, packaging materials, food ingredients, finished canned products, and export containers.

  • Sound knowledge of FIFO, FEFO, batch control, shelf-life management, stock reconciliation, product traceability, and product recall.

  • Understanding of food safety, GMP, HACCP, hygiene, sanitation, pest control, and warehouse-audit requirements.

  • Strong knowledge of ERP-based inventory and warehouse-management systems.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, inventory analysis, reporting, and management-information preparation.Strong leadership, negotiation, communication, planning, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to manage large inventory volumes, seasonal agricultural-material inflows, transporters, and operational teams.



Responsibilities & Context:
  • Manage the receiving, weighing, unloading, storage, preservation, and issuance of fresh agricultural raw materials.

  • Coordinate with Agro Operations, Procurement, Production, and Quality Control regarding harvest schedules, supplier deliveries, production requirements, and quality status.

  • Ensure proper lot identification, supplier or farmer traceability, weighing records, and segregation of accepted, rejected, damaged, and pending-inspection raw materials.

  • Ensure timely delivery of agricultural raw materials to Production to minimize spoilage, deterioration, and quality loss.

  • Manage the storage and inventory control of prepared cans, can ends, lids, printed cans, cartons, labels, shrink films, pallets, ingredients, consumables, spare parts, and other factory materials.

  • Ensure prepared cans and packaging materials are stored in clean, dry, hygienic, and damage-free conditions.

  • Prevent dents, rust, scratches, contamination, moisture damage, and mixing of different products, can sizes, customer designs, and specifications.

  • Manage the receipt, storage, preservation, inventory control, and dispatch of finished canned-food products.

  • Ensure finished products are maintained by product, batch, customer, destination, manufacturing date, expiry or best-before date, and quality-release status.

  • Implement FIFO, FEFO, batch control, shelf-life control, stock ageing, and end-to-end product traceability.

  • Maintain accurate inventory transactions in ERP, stock registers, and approved warehouse-management systems.

  • Conduct cycle counts, physical stock verification, inventory reconciliation, and investigation of stock variances.

  • Monitor minimum stock, maximum stock, safety stock, slow-moving, non-moving, excess, obsolete, damaged, and expired inventory.

  • Coordinate export shipment plans with Commercial, Export, Production, Quality Control, and Supply Chain teams.

  • Manage container placement, inspection, cleanliness verification, stuffing, sealing, weighing, documentation, and timely dispatch to the port or container depot.

  • Ensure export containers are clean, dry, odour-free, pest-free, leak-proof, structurally sound, and suitable for canned-food products.

  • Prepare container-wise loading plans and verify product quantity, batch details, container number, seal number, vehicle number, and shipment documents.

  • Plan and manage inbound transportation of agricultural raw materials, prepared cans, packaging materials, ingredients, and other operational supplies.

  • Manage transporters, vehicle suppliers, container-handling agencies, and logistics service providers.

  • Monitor freight cost, vehicle placement, turnaround time, delivery performance, detention, product damage, shortage, and transit loss.

  • Verify transport bills, trip sheets, delivery challans, vehicle records, and supporting documents before recommending payment.

  • Ensure compliance with food safety, GMP, hygiene, sanitation, pest control, product traceability, occupational safety, customer, and export requirements.

  • Support internal audits, external audits, buyer audits, certification audits, inventory audits, and regulatory inspections.

  • Maintain proper warehouse layout, stacking, labelling, segregation, housekeeping, fire safety, security, and space utilization.

  • Lead, supervise, and develop warehouse, inventory, logistics, forklift, loading, and support teams.

  • Prepare inventory reports, stock-ageing reports, logistics reports, budgets, KPI dashboards, and periodic management reports.

  • Perform any other duties assigned by the management or reporting authority.
