• Strong expertise in Logistics, Transportation, Export Logistics, and Distribution Management.

• Strong knowledge of freight management, vessel booking, freight rate negotiation, and shipping operations.Hands-on knowledge of working with shipping lines, freight forwarders, C&F agents, transport contractors, and 3PL/4PL providers.

• Strong understanding of cold-chain and agricultural raw-material logistics.

• Proficiency in logistics planning, cost optimization, budget management, and vendor management.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to monitor logistics KPIs, SLAs, transit times, damage rates, and transportation costs.

• Proficiency in ERP, Transportation Management Systems (TMS), GPS tracking, data loggers, and other logistics technology solutions.

• Strong negotiation, communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.

• Strong leadership and team management capabilities.

• Ability to identify and manage logistics risks, transportation disruptions, delays, and operational challenges.

• Strong knowledge of logistics documentation, shipment records, traceability, and compliance requirements.

1. Plan, manage, and monitor inbound and outbound transportation operations, ensuring timely, efficient, and cost-effective movement of agricultural raw materials and export shipments, including delivery to the port.

2. Lead and oversee the end-to-end logistics operations, ensuring smooth coordination among transportation, warehousing, export logistics, and agricultural raw-material handling activities.

3. Negotiate freight rates, vessel space allocations, and commercial contracts with shipping lines, freight forwarders, and 3PL/4PL service providers to ensure competitive rates and reliable services.

4. Manage and maintain strong relationships with shipping lines, C&F (Clearing & Forwarding) agents, transport contractors, logistics service providers, and port authorities.

5. Monitor and track vehicle and shipment movements throughout the transportation journey using GPS and other real-time tracking solutions to ensure timely delivery and effective shipment visibility.

6. Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of all inbound and outbound transportation activities, including shipment details, transportation costs, delivery status, and other relevant logistics information for future reference and analysis.

7. Ensure ambient and cold-chain integrity throughout transportation and storage to minimize post-harvest losses, maintain product quality, and preserve shelf life.

8. Oversee the receiving, weighing, unloading, storage, preservation, and issuance of fresh agricultural raw materials, ensuring efficient handling and timely availability for Production.

9. Coordinate with Agro Operations, Procurement, Production, and Quality Control regarding harvest schedules, supplier deliveries, production requirements, raw-material availability, and quality status.

10. Ensure proper lot identification, supplier/farmer traceability, weighing records, and segregation of accepted, rejected, damaged, and pending-inspection agricultural raw materials.

11. Ensure the timely delivery of agricultural raw materials to Production to minimize spoilage, deterioration, and quality loss.

12. Monitor logistics operations and vendor performance against defined KPIs and Service Level Agreements (SLAs), including transit time, delivery performance, damage rates, and service quality.

13. Prepare and regularly review logistics performance reports and KPIs, identifying areas for improvement and taking appropriate corrective actions.

14. Evaluate logistics vendor performance continuously and manage performance improvement in collaboration with relevant service providers.

15. Prepare, manage, and optimize the annual logistics and distribution budget, with a focus on effective cost management and resource utilization.

16. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce demurrage, detention, freight costs, transit delays, transportation inefficiencies, and logistics-related losses.

17. Identify and manage key logistics and transportation risks, including shipment delays, port-related disruptions, transportation issues, cold-chain risks, and potential product losses, and take appropriate mitigation measures.

18. Implement and utilize logistics technology solutions, including Transportation Management Systems (TMS), ERP integration, GPS, data loggers, and real-time tracking systems, to improve transportation visibility and operational efficiency.

19. Lead, manage, and develop the logistics team, ensuring effective delegation, performance management, coordination, and continuous development of team capabilities.

20. Establish and maintain effective logistics processes, procedures, and operational controls to ensure consistency, efficiency, and accountability across logistics activities.

21. Ensure compliance with applicable company policies, contractual requirements, transportation and logistics regulations, export-related requirements, and relevant quality and handling standards.

22. Collaborate with relevant functions and management to ensure uninterrupted logistics operations, efficient resource utilization, cost optimization, and timely movement of materials and shipments.
