We are looking for a dynamic and experienced IE & Planning Manager to lead the Industrial Engineering and Production Planning teams in our garments manufacturing unit. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, be capable of process optimization, and ensure efficient use of resources to meet production targets and delivery deadlines.

• Develop and implement production plans based on order quantity, delivery date, and factory capacity.
• Conduct line layout planning, time and motion studies, and line balancing to ensure optimal efficiency.
• Prepare and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules to meet shipment deadlines.
• Calculate and establish Standard Minute Values (SMVs) for new styles using proper IE methods.
• Improve productivity through process analysis, method improvement, and efficient manpower utilization.
• Monitor and analyse key performance indicators such as efficiency, production output, and WIP.
• Lead lean manufacturing initiatives to reduce waste, improve workflow, and enhance profitability.
• Coordinate with merchandising, cutting, sewing, and finishing departments for capacity and production planning.
• Identify bottlenecks and develop solutions to improve overall garment manufacturing flow.
• Plan machine and operator allocations according to style requirements and skill matrix.
• Supervise the IE team and ensure accurate reporting and continuous improvement efforts.
• Review and implement capacity planning based on forecasted orders and actual performance.
• Ensure adherence to production plans and take corrective actions in case of any deviation.
• Train line supervisors and operators on work standardization and motion economy.
• Work with ERP/MIS systems for data entry, tracking, and analysis of production planning.
• Generate regular reports on production efficiency, capacity utilization, and cost-saving measures.
