Job Responsibilities:
∎ Oversee worker attendance and leaves; ensure reconciliation of attendance by conducting physical floor checks against system data; Generate reports and forward to GM, HR
∎ Oversee requests for termination of employees; Track and manage adherence to statutory norms related to execution of termination
∎ Implement employee recognition schemes in line with business objectives; Coordinate with Department/ Section Heads to carry out employee engagement initiatives
∎ Track factory discipline of workers; Raise issues to GM, HR in case of escalation and issues
∎ Carry out management of all worker issues, grievances; Liaise with department heads to understand issues and reach consensus and resolution
∎ Conduct employee information seminars and knowledge sessions; Clarify worker doubts and resolutions around employee policies and processes
∎ Receive requests of recruitment from all department; Shortlist potential candidates for interview; Share profiles with supervisor
∎ Run recruitment campaigns to scout for suitable candidates as per requirements
∎ Manage employee interview schedule along with department managers; Complete on-boarding activities of new hires
∎ Jointly with department heads identify training needs of workers; Plan training schedule for workers; Communicate and verify the same with floor managers
∎ Manage training activity in coordination with external vendors; Assess training results and manager feedback
∎ Identify gaps in training process; Raise concerns to supervisors
∎ Prepare a list of all applicable audits for the unit and track adherence
∎ Review audit schedule; Communicate audit schedule to the stakeholders
∎ Liaise with different heads of departments to collate data; Track audit preparedness of all departments
∎ Conduct audit activities in coordination with heads of departments; Provide data and reports to government officials, as mandated
∎ Liaise with external auditors to present final audit feedback and reports
∎ Empanel external auditor based on requirements and auditor experience
∎ Periodically track external auditor performance; Resolve any queries or doubts
∎ Track applicable factory policies, procedures, laws and processes; Present action plan as required to ensure compliance
∎ Track applicable labor laws; Provide advice on possible counsel and regulatory requirements
∎ Develop action plan to ensure unit-wide compliance; Highlight issues of non-compliance and highlight to supervisors
