Experience:
Candidate having SA8000 (Basic & Advance) course, ISO 9001 training will be given preference.
Minimum 8–12 years’ experience in HR, Admin & Compliance, preferably in Garments Industrial sector.
In-depth knowledge of Bangladesh Labour Law 2006 (amended 2013, 2018), Factories Act, and related compliance regulations.
Strong expertise in employee relations, disciplinary management, and conflict resolution.Hands-on experience in compliance audit handling (buyer, government, and certification bodies).
Excellent communication and liaison skills with government offices, regulatory authorities, and external stakeholders.
Proven leadership ability in managing a large workforce (factory & projects).
Proficiency in MS Office, HRIS/ERP systems, and preparation of MIS, KPI, and compliance.
HR Management:
Manage workforce planning, organizational structure, and manpower budgeting.
Manage the entire recruitment and selection process, talent acquisition, and retention.
Conduct performance evaluations and ensure timely KPI reviews.
Setup Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for HR related activities.
Handle industrial relations, employee grievances, and disciplinary matters to ensure a positive and motivated workforce
Develop and implement training programs for employees on labor law, ethical practices, and compliance requirements.
Collaborate with departmental heads to align HR strategies with business objectives.
Compliance:
Ensure 100% compliance with labor law, BGMEA, and buyer’s Code of Conduct.
Maintain updated documentation for Better Work, WRAP, BSCI, SEDEX, ACCORD/ALLIANCE, HIGG and other certifications.
Presentation to the buyers as representative of company.
Liaise with buyers, compliance auditors, and certification bodies for ensuring compliance audit.
Coordinate and face audits independently, including CAP (Corrective Action Plan) follow-up and timely closure.
Ensure full implementation of Fire Safety, Building Safety, and Occupational Health programs.
