Experience:
Bachelor or Master's degree in any discipline from a recognized university. Major in Human Resource Management will be preferred.
Additional professional training in HR, Labor Law, Administration, Compliance, or related fields will be considered an advantage.
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in HR & Administration, preferably in a manufacturing or factory environment.
Sound knowledge of Bangladesh Labor Law, Labor Rules, and factory compliance requirements.
Strong knowledge of factory administrative operations and facility management.
Experience in recruitment, employee relations, attendance management, leave administration, and disciplinary procedures.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
Strong organizational, coordination, and multitasking abilities.
Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Ability to work under pressure and maintain confidentiality.
Experience in dealing with government agencies, labor offices, local authorities, and external service providers will be an advantage.
Primitek Group, a renowned manufacturing company in Bangladesh, is seeking a dynamic and skilled Assistant Manager / Senior Executive – HR & Admin for its factory located in Mirsharai, Chattogram. The incumbent will be responsible for supporting and managing both Human Resources and Administrative functions to ensure smooth factory operations, employee engagement, legal compliance, and effective facility management.
Job Responsibilities
Human Resources
Assist in recruitment and selection activities, including sourcing, interviewing, onboarding, and orientation of employees.
Maintain employee personal files, HR records, and database with proper documentation.
Monitor attendance, leave management, overtime records, and manpower status.
Support payroll-related activities by ensuring accurate attendance and employee data.
Assist in performance management processes and employee development initiatives.
Coordinate training programs, employee engagement activities, and welfare initiatives.
Handle employee grievances and support disciplinary procedures in accordance with company policy and labor laws.
Prepare HR reports, manpower reports, and other management reports as required.
Administration
Assist in managing day-to-day administrative operations of the factory.
Monitor and manage factory utilities, including electricity, water, gas, generators, and other facility services.
Supervise housekeeping, security services, and overall workplace environment.
Coordinate maintenance, repairs, and cleanliness of office premises, factory buildings, and common areas.
Manage canteen operations, transportation services, accommodation facilities (if applicable), and employee welfare activities.
Ensure implementation of workplace safety measures and support compliance initiatives.
Monitor and control administrative expenses related to utilities, transportation, security, housekeeping, and other operational services.
Liaise with local authorities, labor offices, service providers, suppliers, and other external stakeholders.
Support the renewal and maintenance of statutory licenses and permits, including Trade License, Fire License, Environmental Clearance, Factory License, and other regulatory requirements.
Manage office supplies, asset records, logistics support, and vendor coordination activities.
Assist in organizing company events, meetings, training programs, and official functions.
Support management in implementing HR and administrative policies, procedures, and operational plans.
Maintain confidential documents, administrative records, and official correspondence.
Prepare periodic HR & Administrative reports and updates for management review.
Perform any other duties assigned by management or the supervisor from time to time.
