About the Role
We are seeking a highly capable and driven Lead Data Science Engineer & Chief of Staff to work directly under the Group Director as a key strategic partner. This is a high-impact, second-in-command technical and operational role responsible for building a centralized data intelligence system across our group of 11 garment and textile factories, while also acting as the Director’s operational proxy across the company.
You will design and implement a unified data ecosystem that brings together production, inventory, sales, procurement, finance, and accounting into a single, highly structured and actionable system — and use that system to drive execution across departments on behalf of leadership.
This is a build-from-zero leadership role combining data architecture + executive execution responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
Data & Systems Leadership
Design and develop a centralized data infrastructure integrating all 11 factories
Build and manage databases/data warehouses for:
Production tracking
Inventory management (store)
Sales and order flow
Procurement and purchasing
Financial and accounting systems
Develop real-time dashboards and reporting systems for executive-level decision making
Standardize data collection processes across factories to ensure consistency and accuracy
Identify inefficiencies and generate data-driven insights to optimize operations
Establish the foundation for a future data and analytics department
Executive Proxy / Chief of Staff Functions
Act as the Group Director’s representative in cross-departmental coordination
Track execution of key initiatives across factories and departments
Translate leadership directives into clear operational actions and follow through
Run weekly performance reviews (production, inventory, finance) using data systems you build
Identify bottlenecks and push resolution with department heads
Prepare briefings, summaries, and decision notes for the Group Director
Ensure accountability across departments using structured reporting and KPIs
