Responsibilities & Context:

• The Executive Civil Engineer drives the day-to-day progress of structural, infrastructure, or commercial construction projects. Operating at the intersection of site supervision and project planning, this role ensures engineering designs transition smoothly into well-built reality. You will lead field teams, manage contractor relationships, track project schedules, and enforce strict safety and quality standards across all project phases.

  Core Responsibilities

  • Direct Site Operations: Oversee daily field activities to ensure structural elements, concrete pours, and rebar installations match approved technical specifications and local codes.

  • Manage Contractors & Suppliers: Serve as the primary point of contact for contractors and vendors, verifying work quality, approving measured quantities, and maintaining workflow schedules.

  • Resolve Design & Technical Issues: Review architectural and structural blueprints for field constructability, flagging discrepancies early and coordinating required design adjustments.

  • Track Timelines & Resources: Monitor project progress against master schedules, tracking material usage, labor allocation, and site expenses to keep the project within budget.

  • Enforce Safety & Compliance: Maintain a culture of compliance by implementing health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards and resolving site hazards immediately.

  • Streamline Stakeholder Communication: Keep architects, MEP engineers, and project leadership aligned through concise progress updates, milestone tracking, and formal site reports.
