Civil Engineer (Design)

Prepare structural design and detailed drawings for residential, commercial, and mixed-use buildings in compliance with BNBC and relevant international codes (ACI, AISC, Eurocode where applicable).

Perform structural analysis and design of RCC and steel structures using software such as ETABS.

Design foundations (isolated, combined, raft, pile) based on geotechnical investigation reports.

Prepare and check working drawings, bar bending schedules (BBS), and design calculations.

Coordinate with architectural, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical teams to ensure integrated and clash-free designs.

Review architectural drawings and provide structural feasibility and optimization solutions.

Prepare design reports, calculation notes, and documents required for authority approval.

Provide design support during construction, including responding to RFIs and design clarifications.

Conduct design reviews and ensure quality control of drawings before submission.

Assist in cost optimization and material efficiency without compromising safety and code compliance.

Participate in site visits when required to resolve design-related issues and ensure implementation as per approved drawings.

Maintain proper documentation and version control of all design deliverables.
