Active Renewable Energy, a sister concern of Active Energy Engineering Ltd., is looking for an early-career Engineer to work across Solar EPC design, project execution, commissioning and project coordination. The position is based at our Dhaka HQ with required deployment to project sites across Bangladesh.

We welcome motivated fresh graduates as well as junior engineers with relevant solar, electrical-project, EPC, internship, thesis or site experience. Strong electrical fundamentals, practical problem-solving ability, discipline and willingness to learn are more important than knowing every system from day one.

Key Responsibilities:
• Participate in electrical and structural site surveys and collect load, roof/site and grid information for feasibility assessments.
• Assist in the design of industrial rooftop, ground-mounted, solar pumping, solar car parking/BIPV, hybrid PV-DG and ESS projects.
• Prepare and update AutoCAD layouts, Single-Line Diagrams (SLDs), cable schedules, equipment layouts, BOM/BOQ and basic engineering calculations.
• Support shading analysis and energy-yield studies using PVsyst, HelioScope, SketchUp or similar tools.
• Support site mobilization, installation supervision, contractor coordination, testing and commissioning of Solar PV and related electrical systems.
• Check installation quality against approved drawings, datasheets and project specifications.
• Assist with inverter, protection, earthing, cable, panel and equipment checks and troubleshooting.
• Maintain site records, progress updates, punch lists, test reports, as-built drawings and project handover documentation.
• Assist the commercial team with technical inputs, BOQ/costing, proposal preparation and basic energy/ROI calculations.
• Coordinate with procurement, vendors, contractors and internal teams for technical clarifications and project requirements.
• Attend client/site meetings when required and communicate technical matters professionally.
