Responsibilities & Context:

Hosaf Group is inviting applications from competent & potential candidates for the position of “Asst. Shift in Charge-Engine (O & M)” for 113 MW HFO based Power Plant.

Job Responsibilities:             

• Thorough knowledge of plant start up and shut down according to the SOP.

• Ensure uninterrupted power supply by monitoring engine parameters and troubleshooting issues promptly. 

• Supervise the shift team to ensure efficient operation and teamwork.

• Provide technical support to the Shift in Charge and guidance to junior operators and technicians      

• Maintain accurate logs of operational data and prepare operational report to Plant In charge   

• Monitor fuel consumption and efficiency metrics to ensure compliance to Plant In charge    

• Act promptly to manage any system faults or emergencies, including blackouts or equipment malfunctions    

• Raise WO, Issue PTW as per standard and coordinate with the maintenance team for timely corrective actions.    

• Support plant In Charge as per requirements

• Any other tasks imposed by the Management
