    • Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Human Resource Management
    • Master of Business Studies (MBS) in Human Resource Management
    • Master of Arts (MA) in Law, English
  • PGD in Human Resource Management will get preference.

Additional Requirements:
  • Age At most 35 years
  • Candidate should have experience working in Human Resources Management department.

  • Advance level of analytical skill and presentation skill with MS Excel, Powerpoint is plus.

  • Multitasking ability in pressure situation will consider as extra advantage.



Responsibilities & Context:

Job Purpose

The Human Resources Officer is responsible for supporting the implementation of HR policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure efficient human resource management across the organization. The position assists in recruitment, onboarding, employee records management, performance management, staff development, compliance, employee relations, and HR administration while ensuring compliance with organizational policies and the labor laws of Bangladesh.

Key Responsibilities

1. Recruitment and Selection

  • Coordinate recruitment activities from requisition to appointment.

  • Prepare job advertisements and publish them through appropriate media.

  • Screen applications and prepare shortlist of candidates.

  • Arrange written examinations, interviews, and selection board meetings.

  • Communicate with candidates regarding examinations, interviews, and appointment.

  • Prepare interview documents, evaluation sheets, and recruitment reports.

  • Process appointment letters, joining letters, and employment contracts.

  • Maintain recruitment databases and candidate records.

2. Employee Onboarding and Induction

  • Coordinate joining formalities for newly recruited employees.

  • Arrange orientation and induction programmes.

  • Prepare employee files and maintain personnel records.

  • Ensure completion of all joining documentation.

  • Coordinate probation confirmation process.

3. HR Administration

  • Maintain personal files and electronic employee database.

  • Prepare employment certificates, transfer orders, promotion letters, confirmation letters, and other HR correspondence.

  • Update employee information in the HR Information System (HRIS).

  • Prepare HR reports and statistics.

4. Performance Management

  • Coordinate annual performance appraisal activities.

  • Monitor probationary performance evaluations.

  • Maintain performance appraisal records.

  • Assist supervisors in implementing performance improvement plans.

5. Compensation and Benefits Support

  • Assist in payroll preparation by verifying attendance, leave, and personnel changes.

  • Coordinate employee benefits administration.

  • Support provident fund, gratuity, insurance, and final settlement processes.

  • Prepare HR-related data required for payroll processing.

6. Employee Relations

  • Respond to employee queries regarding HR policies.

  • Support grievance handling processes.

  • Promote positive employee relations.

  • Assist in disciplinary procedures according to organizational policies.

7. Policy Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with:

    • Bangladesh Labour Act and Labour Rules (where applicable)

    • NGO Affairs Bureau requirements (if applicable)

    • Donor compliance requirements

    • Organizational HR Manual and other associate policies & procedures

  • Maintain confidentiality of employee information.

8. Documentation and Reporting

  • Prepare periodic HR reports.

  • Maintain recruitment, training, leave, and staffing statistics.

  • Prepare reports for management, auditors, and donors as required.

  • Ensure proper filing of HR documents.

9. HR Information System (HRIS)

  • Update employee information in HR software.

  • Maintain organizational HR databases.

  • Generate HR reports from the system.

  • Ensure data accuracy and confidentiality.

10. Other Responsibilities

  • Support organizational events and staff engagement activities.

  • Conduct field visits for HR monitoring and support.

  • Assist during audits and compliance reviews.

  • Perform any other HR-related duties assigned by management.

11. Safeguarding

  • Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and Exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.

  • Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.

  • Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
