Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Oversee the recruitment and selection process to ensure timely hiring of qualified candidates.
∎ Coordinate with department heads to identify staffing needs and develop job descriptions.
∎ Conduct interviews and manage the onboarding process for new hires.
∎ Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
∎ Act as a liaison between employees and management to resolve workplace issues and maintain positive employee relations.
∎ Mediate conflicts and address grievances to promote a harmonious work environment.
∎ Organize employee engagement programs and team-building activities.
∎ Develop and implement performance management systems, including setting performance goals, conducting performance appraisals, and providing feedback.
∎ Guide managers in addressing performance issues and implementing corrective actions.
∎ Track employee performance and assist in identifying opportunities for development.
∎ Assess training needs and develop training programs to improve employee skills and productivity.
∎ Coordinate with external training providers and organize internal workshops.
∎ Track employee progress and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs.
∎ Oversee the compensation structure, ensuring competitive and equitable salary levels across the organization.
∎ Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.
∎ Stay updated on industry compensation trends and suggest adjustments to maintain competitiveness.
∎ Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and other relevant regulations.
∎ Maintain employee records in accordance with legal requirements.
∎ Provide guidance on employee-related legal matters, such as terminations, workplace safety, and harassment.
∎ Develop, update, and implement HR policies and procedures.
∎ Ensure that policies are communicated clearly to all employees and adhered to consistently.
∎ Review and modify policies to ensure they remain relevant and in compliance with current legislation.
∎ Promote and ensure a safe and healthy work environment in compliance with safety regulations.
∎ Manage employee wellness programs and initiatives to improve work-life balance.
∎ Investigate accidents and incidents, ensuring corrective actions are taken.
∎ Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals.
∎ Provide HR-related data and analytics to guide decision-making and support strategic objectives.
∎ Stay informed on HR trends and best practices to ensure the company remains competitive in talent acquisition and retention.
∎ Develop and implement strategies to improve employee satisfaction and reduce turnover.
∎ Conduct employee satisfaction surveys and analyze feedback to improve the work environment.
∎ Recognize and reward employee achievements to enhance retention.
∎ Prepare and present regular reports on HR metrics, including turnover rates, hiring progress, and training effectiveness.
∎ Use data analytics to track trends and support decision-making processes.
∎ Recommend improvements based on data analysis and feedback from employees.
∎ Assist in managing organizational change by developing communication strategies and supporting employees through transitions.
∎ Help implement restructuring and workforce planning strategies.
∎ Ensure smooth integration during mergers, acquisitions, or departmental changes.
∎ Oversee HR software systems for efficient management of HR processes.
∎ Implement and maintain HRIS (Human Resource Information System) to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
∎ Ensure data integrity and confidentiality in all HR systems.
