Reporting Line
Reports locally to the Country Director, Bangladesh
Functional reporting to Regional / Group People & Culture
Works closely with management to ensure alignment with Group HR policies and business objectives
Role Summary
Lead and manage end-to-end HR and Administration operations
Ensure HR governance, legal compliance, and cost discipline
Support structured workforce growth and organizational effectiveness
Balance strategic HR support with strong operational execution
Key Responsibilities
A. HR Governance, Compliance & Risk
Ensure compliance with Bangladesh labor laws and company policies
Implement Group HR governance standards locally
Maintain accurate, audit-ready employee records and contracts
Coordinate internal/external HR audits and close findings
Identify HR compliance risks and recommend mitigation actions
Liaise with government and regulatory authorities as required
B. Workforce Planning & Development
Support annual manpower planning and budget control
Monitor headcount and workforce costs
Coordinate performance management and PDT processes
Support succession planning and key talent continuity
Identify training needs and coordinate development initiatives
C. Talent Acquisition
Manage end-to-end recruitment as per approved manpower plans
Ensure fair, structured, and competency-based hiring
Coordinate interviews, onboarding, and induction
Track recruitment effectiveness (time-to-hire, quality)
Support employer branding initiatives within budget
D. Employee Relations & Discipline
Handle employee relations, grievances, and disciplinary cases
Ensure proper documentation and confidentiality
Guide managers on policy application and conflict resolution
Promote a professional and respectful workplace culture
E. Compensation, Payroll & Cost Control
Oversee accurate and timely payroll processing
Ensure compliance with tax and statutory contributions
Administer employee benefits, insurance, and claims
Support salary reviews and compensation benchmarking
Monitor HR and administrative expenses
F. HR Reporting & Process Improvement
Maintain accurate HR data and workforce metrics
Prepare regular HR reports (headcount, turnover, compliance)
Support standardized HR processes and reporting tools
Drive documentation discipline and continuous improvement
G. Administration & Office Management
Oversee office administration, vendors, and procurement
Manage office facilities, utilities, and service providers
Administer company assets, vehicles, and insurance
Coordinate travel and logistics cost-effectively
Ensure office safety, security, and operational standards
H. Leadership Support & Culture
Act as a trusted HR partner to the Country Director
Support initiatives on discipline, accountability, and engagement
Coach managers on HR policies and best practices
Maintain confidentiality, ethics, and professionalism
