Educational Requirements:
∎ Master Degree in any discipline.
∎ Diploma in Social Compliance from BIM will be an added advantage.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 10 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Garments Compliance, Garments HR Admin, Legal Compliance/ Code of Conduct, Social Complaince
Job Responsibilities:
∎ To be responsible for the day-to-day operation of Compliance Department.
∎ To implement and monitor different buyers Code of Conduct and various compliance issues.
∎ To support the compliance team, solve technical problems and help them to prepare corrective action plan (CAP) based on External, Internal, First party & third party social compliance audit.
∎ Preparing, organizing and managing factory audits as per buyer's requirements including various social, ethical, environmental, technical, supply chain security and QMS audits.
∎ Sound Knowledge on Process & Procedure on Certification of WRAP, BSCI, SEDEX, C-TPAT & ISO.
∎ To ensure all facilities involving health& safety specially fire safety measures and procedures.
∎ Conduct environmental audits to ensure adherence to environmental standards.
∎ To resolve employee's grievance, stress in proactive manner and manage complex team situations to build up good internal relationship among the employee.
∎ Keep informed regarding pending industry changes, trends, and best practices and assess the potential impact of these changes on organizational processes.
∎ Provide employee training on compliance related topics, policies, or procedures.
∎ Assess compliance or operational risks and develop risk management strategies.
∎ Identify compliance issues that require follow-up or investigation.
∎ Design or implement improvements in communication, monitoring, or enforcement of compliance standards.
∎ Disseminate written policies and procedures related to compliance activities.
∎ File appropriate compliance reports with regulatory agencies.
∎ Prepare management reports regarding compliance operations and progress.
∎ Liaison with BGMEA, compliance auditors, Fire & Civil Defense, Labour Office, Labour Court, Police Station etc.
∎ To consult with top Management with regard to deciding priorities.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 40 years
∎ Sound knowledge on Labour Law, Fire Prevention and Fire Fighting Law and ILO Convention relevant to RMG sector.
∎ The incumbent should be dynamic, well organized, self driven & have good personality.
