  • 3–5 years’ experience in KPI management, performance monitoring, or data analysis (preferably in manufacturing).
  • Strong analytical ability, reporting skills, and proficiency in Excel/Power BI tools.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Knowledge of LEAN, ISO, or performance management systems will be an added advantage.
  • Experience in both corporate KPI management and factory operational analytics.
  • Skilled in designing unified dashboards covering both strategic KPIs and operational KPIs.


Responsibilities & Context:

About the Role :

We are looking for a highly analytical, structured and detail-oriented Assistant Manager – KPI (Key Performance Indicator) to lead the development, governance, tracking, and reporting of the company-wide performance indicators. The ideal candidate must have strong knowledge of KPI design capability and frameworks, advanced data analytics skills, performance monitoring and hands-on experience working within a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. KPI Development & Monitoring

  • Establish KPI governance frameworks, standard definitions, and data validation processes.

  • Develop department-wise and employee-wise KPIs aligned with company objectives.

  • Develop and manage unified KPI frameworks covering both Head Office (HR, Finance, SCM, Merchandising, Marketing, Planning etc) and Factory operations (Knitting, Dyeing, Cutting, Sewing, Finishing, IE, Quality, Maintenance etc).

  • Design factory-specific metrics, such as including but not limited to:

    • Efficiency %, Line Productivity, SMV, CM Cost, WIP, OTIF, Downtime, Rejection/Rework %, DHU, Right-First-Time, Capacity Utilization, Machine Utilization, Production Loss %.

  • Act as the data custodian of the KPI implementation team

  • Work closely with data custodians and report achievement accordingly

  • Prepare Monthly/Quarterly/ Yearly KPI Performance Report

  • Ensure consistent KPI definition and interpretation across sites.Implement and manage KPI dashboards for Marketing, Merchandising , Dyeing, Knitting ,Production, Quality, Maintenance, HR & Admin. , Finance, and Supply Chain.

  • Track Monthly/Quarterly/ Yearly KPI Performance achievements and analyze performance deviations.

  • Lead monthly factory vs. HO KPI alignment meetings to ensure unified reporting.

  • Collaborate with departmental heads to refine and update KPIs.

2. Data Collection & Reporting

  • Ensure accurate, timely, and complete data collection from all departments.

  • Establish data collection protocols across factory and head office teams to ensure accuracy and standardization.

  • Conduct factory floor data validation checks with IE/Production/Quality teams as part of daily/weekly KPI review.

  • Verify data authenticity and maintain KPI-related databases.

  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly KPI performance reports for top management.

  • Present KPI trends, insights, and recommendations for improvement.

  • Consolidate factory and HO data into unified dashboards for management visibility.

  • Prepare integrated factory + HO KPI scorecards for the Managing Director and Board.

3. Performance Management Support

  • Support HR in performance appraisal processes based on KPI outcomes.

  • Assist in yearly target-setting for all departments.

  • Conduct training/orientation sessions on KPI concepts and usage.

  • Provide KPI insights during factory performance appraisals and skill matrix evaluations.

  • Support IE and HR in skill-mapping and manpower productivity KPIs.

  • Assist in annual budgeting by forecasting KPI performance trends for factory departments.

4. Process Improvement & Efficiency Tracking

  • Identify head office level and factory level productivity gaps and operational inefficiencies through KPI analysis.

  • Recommend and follow up on improvement initiatives with measurable impact.

  • Identify efficiency leakage on lines, bottlenecks, and root causes using KPI analyses.

  • Collaborate with IE teams to validate improvement initiatives such as SMV reduction, process optimization, and machine utilization enhancement.

  • Track impact of CAPEX changes through KPI shifts (machine additions, layout improvements, automation gains).

5. Compliance & Documentation

  • Maintain updated SOPs for KPI collection, reporting, and review procedures.

  • Ensure compliance with ISO, LEAN, and internal audit requirements.

  • Preserve all KPI-related documents and records for audit and verification.

  • Maintain KPI documentation for internal audit, buyer audits and for social compliance audits like ISO/WRAP/SEDEX.
