  • At least 3–4 years of hands-on experience in KPI-based Performance Management. 
  • Strong know-how of KPI-based performance appraisal systems.
  • Practical experience in designing KPIs for manufacturing, sales, and corporate functions.
  • Sound understanding of performance rating, calibration, and evaluation methods.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, HR dashboards, and data analysis.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and handle confidential information.


Responsibilities & Context:

The Assistant Manager – Performance Management will be responsible for designing, implementing, monitoring, and continuously improving a KPI-based Performance Management System (PMS) aligned with the company’s business goals, manufacturing efficiency, and sales performance.

  • Ensure PMS alignment with organizational objectives, departmental targets, and individual roles.

  • Design, implement, and manage a KPI-based performance appraisal system for factory, sales, and corporate employees.

  • Review and update KPIs periodically to reflect business priorities.

  • Coordinate with department heads to finalize KPIs and performance targets.

  • Monitor KPI progress and provide periodic performance dashboards and reports.

  • Conduct mid-year and annual performance appraisal cycles.

  • Ensure fair, transparent, and timely completion of performance evaluations.

  • Analyze appraisal outcomes and identify performance gaps.

  • Facilitate performance review discussions between supervisors and employees.

  • Handle PMS-related employee queries and grievances professionally.

  • Identify high performers and underperformers for reward, coaching, or corrective action.

  • Coordinate with Training & Development to address skill gaps identified through PMS.

  • Maintain PMS policies, guidelines, formats, and appraisal records.

  • Prepare management reports, analytics, and performance insights for decision-making.

  • Support implementation or enhancement of PMS modules in HR software

  • Continuously improve performance management processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
