Education:
    • Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Supply Chain Management
    • Bachelor in Engineering (BEngg)
    • Master of Business Administration (MBA)
  • PGD in Supply Chain Management

Additional Requirements:

  • Proficiency in ERP system and Excel

  • Strong knowledge of MRP, Inventory control and Local Sourcing

  • Good communication, analytical and problem-solving skills



Responsibilities & Context:
  • Identify and source local suppliers for required materials, goods, and services. Ensure timely procurement and delivery of items to meet business needs.

  • Establish and maintain relationships with local vendors, ensuring adherence to quality, cost, and delivery expectations.

  • Obtain quotations from suppliers, evaluate offers based on price, quality, and lead time, and negotiate favorable terms to secure the best deals.

  • Prepare and process purchase orders (POs), ensuring all details (pricing, quantities, delivery schedules) are accurate and aligned with company requirements.

  • Work closely with inventory and warehouse teams to ensure optimal stock levels are maintained, preventing shortages or overstock situations.

  • Ensure that products and materials purchased meet the company’s quality standards and specifications.

  • Maintain accurate records of all purchase transactions, including purchase orders, invoices, and receipts. Prepare reports for management regarding procurement activities and supplier performance.

  • Regularly assess vendor performance, address any concerns or issues, and take corrective action when necessary to ensure continued satisfaction.

  • Monitor procurement expenses and ensure purchases align with the approved budget. Identify opportunities to reduce costs while maintaining quality.

  • Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, legal requirements, and ethical standards.

  • Work closely with other departments, including Finance, Production, and Logistics, to ensure smooth coordination and support business operations.

  • Perform any other duties related to procurement as assigned by the supervisor.
