Experience:

• 12 to 15 years

• Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA), Supply Chain Management, Logistics & Transportation Management, International Business, Marketing, or a related discipline from a reputed university.

• Candidates with Bachelor's Degree along with extensive relevant industry experience may also be considered.

• Professional certifications such as IATA Cargo Introductory Course, IATA Cargo Management, Dangerous Goods Regulations (DGR), FIATA Diploma, or other internationally recognized freight forwarding certifications will be given preference.

• Strong knowledge of international trade, export documentation, airline operations, and logistics management is required.

• 12 to 15 years

• Strong airline network and industry contacts.

• Excellent leadership and negotiation skills.

• Sound knowledge of international freight forwarding procedures.

• Strong communication skills in English and Bangla.

• Proficiency in MS Office and freight forwarding software.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the overall Air Export operations of the company.

• Develop business strategies to increase air freight export revenue and market share.

• Maintain strong relationships with airlines, overseas agents, consolidators, and key customers.

• Negotiate freight rates and service agreements with airlines and partners.

• Ensure timely booking, documentation, customs compliance, and shipment execution.

• Monitor shipment performance and resolve operational issues promptly.

• Supervise preparation of MAWB, HAWB, export declarations, and other shipping documents.

• Ensure compliance with IATA regulations and airline requirements.

• Lead, motivate, and develop the Air Export team.

• Prepare monthly operational and business performance reports for management.

• Coordinate closely with Sales, Customer Service, Pricing, and Finance departments.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 12-15 years of experience in Air Freight Export Operations within a reputed Freight Forwarding, Logistics, Airline, NVOCC, or Multinational Supply Chain organization.

• At least 5 years of experience in a senior managerial or departmental leadership role.

• Proven experience in managing airline relationships, cargo capacity procurement, rate negotiations, and strategic business development.

• Strong exposure to handling General Cargo, Garments, Pharmaceuticals, Perishables, Dangerous Goods (DG), and Project Cargo shipments.

• Demonstrated success in developing Air Export business, achieving revenue targets, and managing P&L responsibilities.

• Hands-on experience in handling international agents, global networks, and multinational customers.

• Sound knowledge of IATA regulations, customs procedures, freight management systems, and export compliance requirements.

• Experience in leading teams of Operations, Customer Service, Documentation, and Pricing personnel.
