Responsibilities & Context:
Finding and developing local suppliers in Bangladesh
Knowing the machinery, electrical and mechanical spare-parts market
Sourcing alternative/compatible parts.
Collecting and comparing quotations.
Price negotiation.
Vendor development and evaluation.
Purchase order processing.
Understanding technical specifications.
Coordinating with the Service/Engineering team.
Identifying genuine vs. compatible/aftermarket parts.
Managing urgent spare-parts procurement.
Maintaining supplier and price databases.
Visit customer for spare parts requirement.
