Position: Senior Executive – Supply Chain (Procurement)

Job Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end procurement activities to ensure timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials, equipment and services.

Identify, evaluate and develop reliable suppliers and vendors.

Prepare and process purchase requisitions, purchase orders and comparative statements.

Negotiate with suppliers to obtain competitive prices, better payment terms and favorable delivery schedules.

Coordinate with internal departments, including Production, Maintenance, Finance, Accounts and Store, to ensure smooth procurement operations.

Monitor market trends, material prices and supplier performance.

Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, procedures and approval processes.

Maintain proper documentation of procurement activities, contracts and vendor records.

Follow up on delivery schedules and resolve procurement-related issues.

Support cost optimization, strategic sourcing and supply chain efficiency initiatives.

Experience Requirements

1 to 5 years of practical experience in Supply Chain Management or Procurement.

Candidates must have relevant experience in the Cement, Steel or Heavy Manufacturing Industry.

Experience in industrial raw materials, spare parts, machinery, equipment or project procurement will be an added advantage.
