KDS Logistics Ltd., the logistics wing of KDS Group, situated in Chittagong; has been leading the ICD/OFF DOCK industry since a long time with the best-in-class services to its clients. We are looking for young, energetic, dynamic, self-motivated and proactive person to perform the role of a Executive (Logistics & Equipment)- for Procurement Department. The incumbent will have to play the role in the dynamic ICD/OFF Dock Industry.
Job Responsibilities
Manage procurement activities for logistics-related equipment, spare parts, and operational materials
Source, evaluate, and select suppliers for vehicles, handling equipment, machinery, containers, and related items
Prepare RFQs, analyze quotations, and develop comparative statements
Negotiate prices, delivery terms, and payment conditions with suppliers
Issue purchase orders and ensure timely delivery as per operational requirements
Coordinate with operations, technical, and finance teams for specification and procurement planning
Maintain procurement documentation and vendor records
Monitor supplier performance and ensure quality, cost, and compliance standards
Support cost control, budgeting, and audit requirements
