Responsibilities & Context:

The Assistant General Manager – HR, Admin & Compliance will oversee HR operations, factory administration, and compliance functions of the Factory. The role ensures effective manpower management and full compliance with labor laws and buyer standards, supporting a productive and compliant factory environment.

Responsibilities :

Execute overall factory HR, Administrative & Compliance activities.

Assist Management for effective execution of administrative functions of the factory.

Supervise general administration, factory security, transport, canteen, housekeeping, and utilities.

Develop strategic policy & procedures in aspect of Admin, HR & Compliance issues

Ensure required compliance with the factory premises implemented as per buyer code of conduct

Liaise with other departmental heads to ensure they are fully informed of HR objectives

Resolve employees’ grievance, stress in a proactive manner

Review/ update salaries/ compensation package and incentives to always keep it competitive

Plan for employee’s performance appraisal; develop tools for appraisal, job evaluation and development

Maintain environmental sustainability in all through work & work procedures. Ensure safety, quality and compliance activities in workplace maintain a clean and tidy site.

Conduct daily / weekly worker meeting/counseling session as required/ as per schedule

Plan, develop and implement Policy, Procedure and Notice for HR & Administrative management

Handle compliance issues as per local law & buyer's COC and meet up the requirements of Buyers, auditors to comply always.

Analyze and compare factory operating cost, cost per worker/per machine, rate of absenteeism, migration, and turnover of workers and feedback accordingly.
